## Introduction

Welcome to the Re(source)-Sharing platform! This guide provides detailed instructions on how to use the platform for both resource providers (organizations that share their resources) and resource users (those who book and use shared resources).

## Getting Started

### Creating an Account

  1. Navigate to the sign-up page by clicking “Sign Up” in the top-right corner of the homepage

  2. Fill in your personal information: - Email address (will be used for verification) - Username - Password

  3. Click “Sign Up” to submit your registration

  4. Check your email for a verification link

  5. Click the verification link to activate your account

### Logging In

  1. Navigate to the login page by clicking “Log In” in the top-right corner of the homepage

  2. Enter your username or email and password

  3. Click “Log In” to access your account

## For Organizations (Resource Providers)

### Registering Your Organization

  1. After logging in, navigate to the “Organizations” section

  2. Click “Register New Organization”

  3. Fill in the required information: - Organization name - Description - Contact information - Legal form - Activity area

  4. Upload any required documents (e.g., usage agreements)

  5. Submit the form and wait for admin approval

### Managing Your Organization

#### Adding Organization Members

  1. Navigate to your organization’s profile

  2. Click “Manage Members”

  3. To add a new member: - Enter the user’s email address - Select their role (admin or regular user) - Click “Add Member”

  4. The user will receive an invitation to join your organization

#### Managing Organization Settings

  1. Navigate to your organization’s profile

  2. Click “Settings”

  3. Update organization information as needed

  4. Save your changes

### Managing Resources

#### Adding a New Resource

  1. Navigate to the “Resources” section

  2. Click “Add New Resource”

  3. Fill in the resource details: - Name and description - Resource type - Location - Availability schedule - Access information - Compensation requirements

  4. Upload images of the resource

  5. Set any restrictions on who can book the resource and when

  6. Click “Save” to create the resource

  7. Click “Publish” to make it available for booking

#### Editing a Resource

  1. Navigate to the “Resources” section

  2. Find the resource you want to edit and click on it

  3. Click “Edit Resource”

  4. Update the resource information as needed

  5. Click “Save” to update the resource

#### Setting Resource Restrictions

  1. Navigate to the resource you want to restrict

  2. Click “Manage Restrictions”

  3. You can add restrictions based on: - Time (specific days or hours) - Organizations (allow or deny specific organizations) - Compensation (require specific compensation)

  4. Save your restrictions

### Managing Bookings

#### Viewing Booking Requests

  1. Navigate to the “Bookings” section

  2. View all booking requests for your resources

  3. Click on a booking to see details

#### Approving or Rejecting Bookings

  1. Open the booking request

  2. Review the details

  3. Click “Approve” or “Reject”

  4. Add a message if needed

  5. The user will be notified of your decision

#### Communicating with Users

  1. Open the booking

  2. Click “Send Message”

  3. Type your message

  4. Click “Send”

  5. The user will receive your message and can respond

## For Users (Resource Bookers)

### Finding Resources

  1. Navigate to the “Resources” section

  2. Browse available resources

  3. Use filters to narrow down resources by: - Type - Location - Availability - Organization

  4. Click on a resource to view detailed information

### Booking Resources

#### One-time Booking

  1. Select the resource you want to book

  2. Click “Book Now”

  3. Select the date and time for your booking

  4. Add any additional information requested

  5. Click “Submit Booking Request”

  6. Wait for approval from the resource owner

#### Recurring Booking

  1. Select the resource you want to book

  2. Click “Book Now”

  3. Select the start date and time

  4. Check “Recurring Booking”

  5. Set the frequency (daily, weekly, monthly)

  6. Set the end date

  7. Add any additional information requested

  8. Click “Submit Booking Request”

  9. Wait for approval from the resource owner

### Managing Your Bookings

#### Viewing Your Bookings

  1. Navigate to “My Bookings”

  2. View all your booking requests and their status

  3. Click on a booking to see details

#### Canceling a Booking

  1. Navigate to “My Bookings”

  2. Find the booking you want to cancel

  3. Click “Cancel Booking”

  4. Provide a reason for cancellation

  5. Click “Confirm Cancellation”

  6. The resource owner will be notified

#### Communicating with Resource Owners

  1. Open the booking

  2. Click “Send Message”

  3. Type your message

  4. Click “Send”

  5. The resource owner will receive your message and can respond

## Troubleshooting

### Common Issues

#### Email Verification

If you don’t receive the verification email: 1. Check your spam folder 2. Click “Resend Verification Email” on the login page 3. Contact support if the issue persists

#### Booking Issues

If you encounter problems with booking: 1. Ensure the resource is available for the selected time 2. Check if you have the necessary permissions 3. Verify that your organization has been approved 4. Contact the resource owner for assistance

#### Access Issues

If you have trouble accessing a booked resource: 1. Verify that your booking has been approved 2. Check the access information provided by the resource owner 3. Contact the resource owner for assistance
